    This qualification is aimed at learners who are looking to extend their skills and knowledge beyond Level 1 and have an interest in Horticulture as a career or volunteering pathway. All learning will take place on college approved sites at Accrington & Rossendale College, Nelson & Colne College or Let’s Grow Preston where learners will be able to apply the skills and knowledge they are learning in a suitable environment designed to support the development of Horticultural knowledge.

    Gardening and growing your own plants, vegetables and flowers can bring a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits. However, for some, starting out can seem quite daunting, so this 3-week course is a perfect introduction to gardening and growing. You don’t need to have experience, or access to a garden because our expert teachers will adapt the content so you can experience the benefits, even if you only have a small yard or windowsill. The course is delivered 2.5 hours per session over 3 weeks.
