Lancashire Adult Learning (LAL) aims to provide learning opportunities for all adults across the region.
LAL currently offers an extensive range of subjects to learners, with over 2000 courses delivered through more than 300 venues across Lancashire. We engage over 14,000 learners, many of whom have very diverse motivations for engaging with LAL’s offer, and makes us one of the UK’s largest Adult Community Learning Providers.
As an independent organisation, we play a crucial role in moving society forward, reaching out and helping people everywhere within our boundaries to move on and up in their lives.
We’re extremely proud of what we offer, and this was recognised by Ofsted in 2016 with our ‘Good’ rating. We work with over 200 partners across the county to take learning into the communities where it’s needed most. Above all, we put learners at the heart of everything we do – and over 70% choose to continue their studies with us.
Every journey starts with a first step, so why not learn something new today?
