How to Enrol

Once you have found a course that you wish to enrol on, you will be given the option to click on one of the following buttons:

Register your interest

If the course is full or new dates are not yet available, you will be asked to complete a quick ‘register your interest’ form so we can keep in touch with you when further details become available. Fill in the form with your contact information and our curriculum team will be in touch. They will discuss the course with you, let you know what happens next and how and when you can enrol.

Enrol

You can enrol using our online enrolment portal; an easy, quick way to get you signed up. Here’s how it works.

When you click ‘enrol’ on a course you will be taken to our Group enrolment portal.

New to the portal?

  1. Click on the ‘Create an account’ button and you will be asked to complete your personal details.
  2. You will then be asked to select an account reset question. This question will be used as for security if you forget your password in the future.
  3. Then create a password. This password plus your email addresses can then be used the next time you enrol on to a course. Then click create account.
  4. Please enter your postcode and press search. Click on the drop down box and select your address. Then press continue.
  5. Fee information will then show up on screen. Please note many of our courses are FREE for residents in Lancashire. Where a fee applies, it will show up in this section.
  6. You will then see a screen which says ‘Details about you’, you will need to complete the fields marked with * which will include your ethnicity, then press continue.
  7. On the last section there is important information on how we use your details, you will need to read this carefully. You can then also consent whether you would like the college Group or the ESFA to contact you about future courses and events. Tick you preference and then click continue to stage five. If you do not click on the button you enrolment will time out within 48 hours and you will need to start the process again.
  8. You have now nearly completed your enrolment. You will need to read the terms and conditions, tick the box to say you have done so and press confirm.

This process should take between 5-10minutes to complete. If you need help, please email enrolments@nelsongroup.ac.uk or call 0333 003 1717.

Used the portal before?

If so, you can enter your email and password. The portal will remember your details. You will be asked to check your contact details to make sure nothing has changed. After this, follow the on-screen instructions to complete your enrolment.
