To get started with Functional Skills, the first step is to complete an assessment so that we can identify the best class/course for you.

  To book an assessment

1. Please click on the link above to ‘Book an Assessment’. We have various assessment sessions across Lancashire both in-person and online.

2. At the assessment you will complete a short activity to work out your existing skill level and then discuss the outcome with one of our friendly teachers to find out the best option for you.

3. Finally you will be enrolled onto your course and given a start date.

If you would like to speak to someone about your options before booking an assessment, or find out about our maths and English GCSE offer please either call 03330031717, email admin.lal@nelsongroup.ac.uk.

*To learn online courses, you must have access to a PC or laptop and the internet. Places on online programmes are limited and subject to eligibility. You will not have already achieved a Level 2 qualification in these areas.
