This programme is aimed to support learners wishing to work or volunteer in a Mentoring role, in a range of areas from schools, colleges, to drug or alcohol rehabilitation services, and domestic abuse support. The programme has been devised with Level 1 as a basic general introduction to the topics identified with progression to Level 2 for more in-depth learning of the role of a mentor, skills required, agreements, support and how to conduct a mentor meeting....

This programme is aimed to support learners wishing to progress from Level 1 and work or volunteer in a Mentoring role, in a range of areas from schools, colleges, to drug or alcohol rehabilitation services, and domestic abuse support. The programme has therefore been devised as a progression route from Level 1 for more in-depth learning. The course will culminate in an observed mentor meeting to demonstrate skills learned on the course and ability to conduct a meeting in a supportive manner.
