Join us on our FREE virtual event to explore the fantastic new courses for speakers of other languages we have on offer from September.

These courses can be delivered in partnership with organisations who wish to engage their clients, service users or community groups to support them to improve their wellbeing and become more independent in their local communities. During the event, we will explain how you can access these courses, make referrals or work with us to set up courses for your organisation.

You will also get the chance to experience mini-bite sessions in: First Aid , Relaxation Techniques and Mindfulness.

The BIG Summer Challenge

The course with the FUN factor! Are you up for it?

Get outside and carry out amazingly fun challenges together as a family throughout the month of August. The challenges include: designing pavement chalk games, creating a DIY water play kit and playing nature bingo hunt.

We will send you an exciting kit through the post, full of goodies, to enable you to carry out the challenges absolutely free of charge.

Suitable for primary school aged children and their parents/ carers. This is a flexible Family Learning course that you complete in your own time between the 2nd and 29th August.

After completing all 4 challenges you will receive a certificate and you will also be automatically entered into our competition prize draw to win an Amazon voucher. So, what have you got to lose?

 

Horticulture: Grow Your Skills & Knowledge, Boost your Wellbeing, Re-train or Start a New Career

FREE virtual event to explore the new accredited Horticulture courses we have on offer from September. These can be delivered in partnership with organisations that wish to engage their clients or accessed by adults who are looking to improve their wellbeing or starting a new career. During the event, we will explain how you can access these courses and you will experience how online Horticulture works by creating a seed bomb. FREE seed pack sent out to those who book in advance.

We will send you an exciting kit through the post, full of goodies, to enable you to carry out the challenges absolutely free of charge. After completing all 4 challenges you will receive a certificate and a little prize through the post. You will also be automatically entered into our competition prize draw to win an Amazon voucher. So, what have you got to lose? Enrol now!

(We advise enrolling as soon as possible due to limited kits being available.)

This is a flexible course so you’ll take part in your own time, as and when you choose. You simply upload a picture or a description of each activity to evidence you’ve smashed the challenge! The teacher will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have and to see how you’re getting on!

Big Fun Family Quiz

Get your thinking caps on and join us for the Big Fun Family Quiz (suitable for primary school aged children and the whole family!) Examples of these games include ‘catchphrase’, ‘guess the song’ and ‘answer smash’ (all game instructions will be clearly explained.) You’ll be learning without even knowing it as you’re having so much fun!

Summer Sow and Grow for Families

Join the Family Learning team on our FREE, online Summer Sow and Grow for Families and have a go at growing your own flowers and salads. You will also take part in our, ‘How Tall Can You Grow’ Sunflower Challenge and make some fantastic natural art creations! As the days get longer and the ground warms up, it is time to make your outside spaces look bright, colourful and attractive to wildlife.

Free resource packs will be provided if you book before Wednesday 5th May to guarantee your delivery in the mail.
