This is a Health and Social Care course for adults over the age of 19 who wish to enter into a career or further study to Level 3 in the Health and Social Care sector. This 12-week course is an opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills, earning you qualifications that prepare you for a role within a Health and Social Care setting.

On this course, you will study a range of subjects including:

  • Introduction to Dementia Level 1
  • Mental Health Awareness Level 1
  • Equality and Inclusion Level 1
  • Health and Safety in the Workplace Level 1
  • Learning Disabilities Level 1
  • Effective Communication in Health and Social Care Level 2
  • Cleaning and Hygiene within Care Settings E3
  • Moving People Safely Level 2
  • Protection and Safeguarding Level 1
  • Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3
  • Practical Infection Prevention E2
  • Introduction to Autism Spectrum Condition Level 1
  • Stress Awareness Level 1
  • Preparation for Interview Skills and Confidence Building
  • Nutrition and Hydration Level 2

This course will also include a free enhanced online DBS application and a guaranteed interview at the end of the programme with one of eleven prospective employers. Other employers taking part in this programme welcome applications from those who have completed the course.
