Emma Schofield

Emma is Deputy Director of Human Resources (HR) and Organisation Development at the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. Employing over 8,000 staff, the Trust treats over 700,000 patients a year across 5 hospitals and various community sites.

Emma’s background includes a variety of HR senior leadership positions within the NHS, at the University of Salford and also at the DWP. Emma’s Master’s degree is in Human Resources (HR) Management.

Emma has a passion for authentic leadership, engagement, collaboration and employee health and wellbeing, recognising the importance of caring for employees who in turn can then provide the best possible care for the population of Pennine Lancashire.
