Families were invited to enjoy a free fun day in Chorley – which included face painting, a treasure hunt, bouncy castle, and more!
The Family Learning is Fun Day took place at Lancashire College, in Southport Road, from 10am to 3pm, on Saturday 2nd July, with over 300 visitors throughout the day.
The event included Summer family crafts, a DJ and entertainment and a drawing competition. Youngsters and their parents/guardians were also given the chance to take part in a series of engaging challenges – from building a tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows, to building a bridge using K’NEX.
Principal of Lancashire Adult Learning Amanda Melton said: “Here at LAL we recognise the value of family learning – and our fun day is an annual event, which is jam-packed with entertainment for families across Lancashire to enjoy. Families can not only enjoy the array of free activities on offer, but also find out more about Lancashire Adult Learning.”
