Gain skills with our Bridge Programme

We have places available on our Bridge Programme – a range of courses aimed at students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Learner Milan Hadzic took part in the programme last year and went on to win an Inspirational Learner of the Year award at LAL’s 2016 Learner Awards ceremony!

His teacher told us: “Milan has excellent attendance for our Preparation for Employment course. He has been on a Reception/Business Support placement within the college and has taken this very seriously, from the way he dresses to his confidence in greeting customers and his fantastic customer service. Milan is a keen team player who is always ready to take on a challenge. Outside of college, Milan has secured a volunteer placement with Lancashire Wildlife Trust as a Biodiversity Recording Officer, combining his love of wildlife and technology. He’s a keen photographer and has even had his work published in local newspapers. We are very proud to see how Milan has developed over the past year!”

Courses we are running this autumn include Preparation for Employment, Preparation for Independent Living, Staying Safe, Staying Well, Leisure Studies, Cookery, Drama, Money Wise and more. Venues include Lancaster, Chorley and Burnley.
